Mindful Photography Walking Workshops
Salisbury Wiltshire

Do you want to take better photographs? If so, you don’t need a more expensive camera or more megapixels, you simply need a few tips on how to see the world from a different perspective. Remember it’s not the camera which is important, it’s the photographer. You!
Mindful Photography is about immersing yourself in the present moment and truly connecting with the world around you. The first step is to allow yourself to totally relax and respond to the world through your physical senses. You then have to align your eye, your mind and your heart while being totally present in the moment. Whether you use a digital camera or an iPhone, it’s all about trusting your gut instinct.
If you come on one of my 'walking workshops' I will teach you how spending time in nature can be the perfect antidote for stress and in the process you will become a better photographer. By the end of the walk you should be really comfortable with using your camera and feel more confident that you are using it to its full potential and creating positive memories that will last a lifetime.
The walking workshops are suitable for people of all photographic abilities with an interest in mindfulness and curiosity about how this can be applied to photography. You can bring any kind of digital camera – including mobile phones.

Jamie Robertson
Working as a director-producer in the Australian film industry for the last 45 years has given me the opportunity to travel all over the world and work in some beautiful countries. I always take a camera with me on location and many of my images have appeared in International publications. I have also had successful exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Noosa.
In 2022 I returned to the UK to look after my elderly mother so my workshops will be arranged privately and take place in between my caring duties. Every session will be bespoke to suit each customer's specific needs and the cost will vary depending on the location and length of the walk.
You don’t create a photo with your camera, you create it with your eyes.
